Chenrezig embodies the Compassion of all Enlightened Beings.  Meditating on the form and reciting the mantra of Chenrezig refines away selfishness, confusion and negativity.   Mediating on or merely thinking of Chenrezig forges a link with genuine loving kindness and connects us to the nature of our own unbiased compassion.
